Meg's Weight Loss Meanderings

Hey y'all.  Weight loss is a very personal thing, so naturally I'm going to blog about it.  Maybe all you invisible friends will help keep me motivated and honest! 
 
Well, I reckon we'd better start with a before...here is what I looked like when I was seven months pregnant with Sammy Kablammy and a shot of me at a baby shower a week after he was born.  Be warned...
 

 
So, right before my Sammy was born I weighed (you might want to sit down!) 230.8 pounds.  YIKES!!!  Since then I've lost around 40 pounds, which is pretty awesome, but my goal is 140.  We're going to get there together, right?!  Here's a photo of me now:
 
 
I know it's just my face, but it's an improvement!  So, to keep it real, I will post my weight and maybe even a photo each week.  Goals have a much better chance of achievement if they are written...or blogged.  Either way, here we are!  If any of you have any suggestions for weight loss or if there are things you've tried that worked for you, feel free to share them!  This is a safe place...  :D
